Step One - Volunteer Chat

We start with an informal meeting to have a chat about a placement. We will usually discuss:

Step Two - Paperwork & DBS check

It’s important for us to gather basic information about you and for you to have a better understanding of our polices and procedure. The paperwork you would receive would be:

Once we receive the paperwork back, we will put in for a DBS check if required. There is a role for everyone, so we ensure this step is taken to place volunteers in the most appropriate project roles.

Step Three - Training

We want to ensure our volunteers are well trained and have the confidence they need to do the best work they can. We offer a few different training opportunities for our volunteers:
